IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The sudden demise of Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahmatullah alayh) left the Ummah in a state of shock. It has thus taken a while to determine the way forward and to delegate the numerous tasks that Hazrat Maulana (rahmatullah alayh) used to fulfil.

Many people have been anxious about who to communicate with, in terms of their Islahi (spiritual reformation) and personal questions. Since Hazrat (rahmatullah alayh) has passed on into the Rahmat of Allah Ta’ala, it has been decided that questions through this site will now be closed. Nevertheless, those wishing to communicate with somebody for their Islah (reformation) or to discuss their personal issues may contact one of the following people directly on their respective addresses:

1. Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Patel Saheb

Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Patel Saheb is a Khalifah (representative) of Hazrat Maulana Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Saheb (daamat barakaatuhum) and is the younger brother of Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahmatullah alayh). He is also the Vice Principal of Darul Uloom Taleemuddeen in Isipingo Beach and teaches Saheeh Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim at this Darul Uloom. He is further involved in numerous social and academic activities.

2. Hazrat Qari Ismaeel Desai Saheb

Hazrat Qari Ismaeel Desai Saheb was granted Ijazat (permission to initiate Mureeds) and khilafat by Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahmatullah alayh) two years prior to his demise. He is a cousin of Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahmatullah alayh) and also the principal of Madrassah Dawatul Haq in Umzinto which is a renowned Hifz Madressa in South Africa. Qari Saheb is also involved in numerous academic and social activities.

3. Hazrat Maulana Dawood Seedat Saheb

Hazrat Maulana Dawood Seedat Saheb was also granted Ijaazat and khilafat by Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahmatullah alayh) two years prior to his demise. Hazrat Maulana Dawood Seedat Saheb is the Imam of Musjid-ut-Taqwa in Pietermaritzburg wherein weekly Majalis are conducted through Hazrat (rahmatullah alayh)'s instruction. He is also the principal of the Girls Madrassah and Maktab and Ameer of Darul Arqam - an organisation undertaking various social activities.

4. Hazrat Maulana Naeem Motala Saheb

Hazrat Maulana Naeem Motala Saheb is a Khalifah of Hazrat Maulana Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Saheb (daamat barakaatuhum) and Principal of Darul Uloom Hamidiyya in Durban. Hazrat Maulana is the son in-law of Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahmatullah alayh) and was formally appointed by senior Ulama, after Hazrat's (rahmatullah alayh) demise, to conduct the Majalis that Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (rahmatullah alayh) used to conduct in Musjid-e-Noor, Asherville.

However if one has greater Munasabat (compatibility) with any righteous Sheikh who has been generally acknowledged by the Ulama-e-Haq, then it will be most beneficial for one to communicate with him, since the benefit in the matters of reformation and tarbiyat depends largely on munasabat (compatiblity). One should nevertheless also make Mashwarah (consultation) and Istikharah before taking a Sheikh. Hazrat (rahmatullah alayh) used to recommend the talks "Tasawwuf Made Easy" (on this website) to aid a person when searching for a spiritual guide.
