Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates that Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said:
“Read:
abundantly, as this is from the treasures of Jannah.” Mak-hul (RA) a great Tabi ee, narrates that whoever reads the above, Allah will remove 70 calamities from him, the lightest of which is poverty.
Hadrat Makhool (RA) quotes the above with the addition:
Four benefits:
By its recitation, an inclination is created for good deeds and disinclination for bad deeds.
Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said that it is a cure of 99 diseases of both the worlds, the lightest of which is worry.
When anyone reads this, then Allah Ta’ala tells the angels that my servant has become obedient and has left all disobedience.
Ebrahim Alayhis Salaam told Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam on the night of Mi’raj to tell the Ummah that they must expand/increase their gardens of Jannah by reciting the above.
Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud (RA) narrates that I presented myself in the service of Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam. I recited:
Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam asked: “Do you know what it means?” I replied that: “Allah and His Rasool knows best.” Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: “There is no strength to refrain from sins but with the protection of Allah and there is no power over good deeds but with the help of Allah.” (Mirqaat Vol. 5 /P 111)
there is no protection from Allah’s punishment and wrath but by taking refuge in the mercy and pleasure of Allah
